Book – collection of articles “Quo vadis, Moldova?” 

The collection of articles “Quo vadis, Moldova?” is currently the newest known volume providing a review of all major questions of Moldova’s domestic and foreign policy. With their content these articles both disclose the reality of Moldova’s political and social life and name possible ways of solving some problems. Currently Moldova still remains the poorest country in Europe; however, about two years ago the country’s economical recovery started to be felt and Moldovan people’s desire to quicken the country’s integration into the European Union became even stronger. In the future a great amount of painful reforms await Moldova. However, their realization may be facilitated by applying the experience of both local experts and our own country.

An important characteristic of the volume is that authors of the articles are heads of most active and successful non-governmental organizations, university professors, independent journalists, new generation experts, i.e. people with new views and visions which often may seem too radical to the current government authorities of Moldova; however, at least part of them indeed could significantly improve situation in the country. By their far-sightedness and influence authors of the articles included in the book “Quo vadis, Moldova?” shall form the future Moldova and the fact that the articles of this volume provide a review of this country’s perspectives can give us a clear vision of what the future of the country may be.
